Thomas (Tom) Huth is head of the Palladium Group companies in the United States. He is the president and chief executive officer of Palladium USA International, Inc. and other associated Palladium Group companies in the United States including Omnium Management Company, Palladium USA's self-managed and third-party multifamily property management platform. In this role, Mr. Huth is responsible for new business development opportunites. The Palladium Group develops, owns and operates real estate in ten countries including the United States with the U.S. focus on multifamily assets and property management.
Prior to his current position, he was senior vice president and chief financial officer of the Palladium Group companies in the United States responsible for directing all financial aspects of the Group's U.S. operations.
Prior to joining the Palladium Group in 1998, Mr. Huth, a certified public accountant, served as vice president and treasurer for Lexford Management Company and controller for Lexford Properties, Inc. where he was responsible for all financial operations for Lexford's Columbus, Ohio based 516 apartment communities representing a total of 36,405 residential units as well as all of Lexford's Dallas, Texas based third-party fee management operations of approximately 20,000 residential units. Both Lexford Properties and Lexford Management were affiliated with Lexford Residential Trust, a Columbus, Ohio based Real Estate Investment Trust.
Prior to Lexford, Mr. Huth was director of corporate accounting and tax for Partnership Services, Inc., formerly known as Consolidated Capital Equities Corporation (Con Cap).
Mr. Huth started his career in the Dallas, Texas office of Arthur Andersen & Company where he was responsible for engagements in the real estate, hotel, service, retail and manufacturing arenas.
He has been licensed to practice Public Accountancy in Texas since 1992, is a licensed Texas Real Estate Broker, member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, member of the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants, member of the Urban Land Institute, member of the NAHB Sales and Marketing Council, member of the National Multi-Housing Council, member of The Real Estate Council, past Board Member of the Real Estate Financial Executives Association, past Board Member of the Multifamily Leadership Board of NAHB, and a past Junior Achievement Project Business Consultant.
Mr. Huth has bachelor's degrees in both real estate and accounting from the University of Cincinnati.
Joan Maxwell is head of Omnium Management Company serving as Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer. Ms. Maxwell joined Omnium Management during 2004 already having accumulated 30 years experience in the multifamily industry. She refined both her business skills and managerial skills at the University of North Texas and while serving in various roles during her career in property management. Her multifamily tenure includes extensive new construction and lease-up experience, operational/stabilized management of AAA, A, B and C class properties, mixed-use, rehab, high-rise and mid-rise properties, and extensive repositioning of assets. Additionally, Ms. Maxwell has significant experience in due diligence, market research and studies, site selections, property takeovers, property management company transitions, design reviews and marketing plans.
Prior to joining Omnium Management, Ms. Maxwell was Regional Vice President for Pace Realty Corporation. In this role, she was directly responsible for over 2,100 units which consisted primarily of high-rise and mid-rise properties. In addition to her role as Regional Vice President for Pace, Ms. Maxwell was also Director of Training and was responsible for the training and education of site employees. During her 20 year tenure with Pace, Ms. Maxwell’s expertise in property management has contributed immeasurably to the development process and successful lease-up of twelve properties, totaling over 4,300 units. Her strength in this area has established a successful record of operational and lease-up procedures and portfolio management protocols.
Ms. Maxwell has served as Chairperson for the Property Supervisors Council for the Apartment Association of Greater Dallas and attained the professional designations of Certified Apartment Manager and Certified Apartment Property Supervisor. She is a member of the Urban Land Institute (ULI), the Real Estate Financial Executives Association, and is a licensed salesperson with the Texas Real Estate Commission. Ms. Maxwell has been invited to speak before many trade organization functions and most recently was a judge for the National Association of Home Builders Pillars of the Industry Award.
James H. Bennett is the chief legal officer for the Palladium Group companies in the United States, based in Venice, Florida. Jim became associated with the Group in 1986 when it first began exploring U.S. investment opportunities in the Northeast. He is admitted to practice law in New Jersey and Connecticut, and a member of the Connecticut Bar Association.
A graduate of Princeton University and Stanford Law School, Jim was a judicial clerk with the Supreme Court of New Jersey, and in-house counsel to a number of Fortune 500 companies, including part of the management team of the Latin America Business Division of General Electric, and Vice President, International Counsel of the Revlon Health Care Group.
Jim is a past chair of the Planning and Zoning Section of the Connecticut Bar Association. He was also chair of the New Canaan Planning and Zoning Commission and was previously the Commission's representative to the Southwest Regional Planning Agency based in Stamford, Connecticut.
In 2006, Jim and his wife, Lynnette, moved to Venice, Florida. He is currently a member of the Venice City Council. Additionally, Jim represents the city on the Sarasota/Manatee Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) and Community Alliance of Sarasota County, as well as being a member of the Gulf Coast Heritage Foundation. Before being elected to City Council, Jim served on the Planning Commission for the City of Venice, Florida.
Margaret Jones is the vice president of finance for Omnium Management Company. Ms. Jones is responsible for overseeing the property accounting and financial reporting of the assets managed by Omnium Management.
Prior to her current position with Omnium Management, Ms. Jones, a certified public accountant, co-founded and served as the Chief Financial Officer and Vice President of Trigon Management LP, responsible for establishing and directing all financial aspects of the operations. Trigon Management LP, headquartered in Dallas, primarily focused in the downtown Dallas re-development district managing third party “mixed use” high-rise multifamily residential assets. Prior to Trigon Management, Ms. Jones was Controller for Pace Realty Corporation based in Dallas. While at Pace she was responsible for the corporate office and all third party fee management operations of approximately 35 apartment communities representing approximately 5,000 total residential units with an aggregate value in excess of $700 million.
Prior to Pace, Ms. Jones worked for the Dallas office of KPMG where she handled engagements for large international real estate portfolios, hotel, oil and gas and other entity types. Ms. Jones started her extensive real estate career as Vice President and Assistant Controller for Univesco, Inc., a real estate developer located in Dallas then owning approximately 7,500 multifamily units located throughout the United States.
Ms. Jones has a master’s degree in accounting from the University of North Texas and a Bachelor of Science degree from Texas A&M University located in College Station, Texas. She is a licensed salesperson with the Texas Real Estate Commission, and is a member of the Real Estate Financial Executives Association.
Scott Johnson is Vice President Development of Omnium Management Company and in this capacity has primary responsibility for establishing procedures related to the building systems components including overseeing the implementation of emergency procedures. Mr. Johnson began his career in 1985 in the Dallas office of Robert E. McKee Construction as Project Estimator and Field Engineer for various medical, commercial and industrial projects. Later he worked as Project Manager/Estimator for The Becker Company, a Design/Build Developer in Illinois and as a Cost Engineer for Walsh Construction in Connecticut and New York as well as a Project Manager for Core Construction in Dallas.
Most recently prior to joining Omnium Management, Mr. Johnson was Project Manager for Andres Construction Services for ten years in Dallas. While there, he worked on a wide array of projects from private educational centers, various religious facilities, commercial offices, retail and multifamily projects where he was responsible for estimating, project management, purchasing and customer relations.
Mr. Johnson graduated from the University of Oklahoma in 1985 with a BS degree in Construction Science. He is a member of the Project Management Institute (PMI), the Association of Cost Engineers (AACE), the multifamily section of the Home Builders Association of Greater Dallas, and the Urban Land Institute (ULI).
Fred D’Lizarraga is Vice President for Palladium Sales and Marketing and Palladium (USA) International, Inc. Mr. D’Lizarraga is responsible for all aspects of condominium sales and marketing. Currently he supervises the condominium conversion of Grand Treviso Condominiums located in Irving, Texas, as well as pre-sales for two new developments, Palladium Craig Ranch in McKinney, Texas and Vela located in Las Colinas,Texas. Prior to this position, Mr. D’Lizarraga was District Manager for Omnium Management Company, Inc. where he supervised the operations for the entire Palladium multi-family portfolio.
Prior to Omnium and Palladium, Mr. D’Lizarraga spent in excess of ten years with Pace Realty Corporation in the operations side of the multifamily business. Throughout his tenure with Pace, Fred was responsible for the overall operations of multiple multifamily properties with supervisory responsibilities for all aspects of operations, employee training, marketing programs, and the direct oversight of several major renovation projects. He was directly responsible for lease up, marketing, and operational duties for Grand Treviso, earning his company’s highest honors.
Prior to joining Pace, Mr. D’Lizarraga held various site and supervisory positions for several national apartment companies and developers.
Fred received his Bachelors Degree from the University of North Texas, in Denton, Texas, is a licensed salesperson with the Texas Real Estate Commission, and has earned the professional designation of Certified Apartment Manager.
